Hello everyone,
I recently bought the Logitech G430 headset and was wondering about a noise i was hearing. On the part of the cord above where you can adjust the volume and mute the mic, if I touch it or rub my hands on it, I can hear a scratching noise in the left earpiece, whether if it's plugged in or not. This is kind of annoying as it even makes the nose if it rubs up against my shirt. It kind of makes a scratching or zipping noise and is hard to describe. If anyone knows if this is normal or how to fix if if it's not that would be greatly appreciated.

Solution
I think you will find that it is doing the same kind of thing that us older people used to do with 2 cups and a long piece of string. The sound on the cable is travelling up to the earpiece, that is why you are only hearing it when it rubs or is touched.
