I recently got a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E530 and it lags every 2 seconds even while booting and installing windows. It lags for about a second every 2-3 seconds making the computer useless, I have tried 3 different hard drives and swapped out the ram and to no avail, I am just wondering if I should buy a new motherboard and try that? I doubt its the cpu doing it but any help would be appreciated. Oh and I got it for free and plan to give it to my mother so I'm not worried about buying a new mobo if it comes down to it. Thanks in advance.
