Guys i have build a 5.1 channel amplifier using 2 stereo TDA2030 ICS AND 2 MONO TDA2030IC using a 12-0-12 3AMP transformer......thing is that does sub-woofer require a pre-amp circuit....i have connected this amp to creative x-fi sound blaster usb sound card.....the subwoofer is ok..but require the volume to be 50%..to get response properly.....
I am using Philips 166w rms subwoofer...i am satisfied with the amp....only thing is that do i need to add a pre amp circuit to sub input r not.......
the pre-circuit is available in market....i had bought it...but the bass is not natural....without pre-amp the bass is natural and smooth...
