Alright so here's the thing, I recently got a new Lenovo IdeaPad y510p. This is a more than capable gaming computer that has recently had a sudden fps drop in all games. I used to be able to play PlanetSide 2 and Neverwinter at a decent fps on high. Now, those same games (at the same settings) cant seem to hold a playable fps (well below 30). Hell, even DoTA 2 is having trouble in team fights. I used to be able to completely max that game out. Also, when I tone down the settings to the complete minimum, I get the same fps! What could be hindering my performance? A virus, temperature etc? I got this only about a month and just last week it has been giving me trouble. And yes, I attempted getting rid of unnecessary processes via task manager. All my GPU drivers are updated via Geforce Experience. Also, my specs are:
-Intel core i7-4700MQ 2.40 GHz
-NVIDIA Geforce GT 750M
-1TB Hard Drive
-8GB RAM
-Windows 8.1
Another thing to note is that I have a wireless Logitech mouse. Could this be causing the problem at all? It can't be internet problems because I don't experience internet lag when this happens. I understand that this question has been asked several times before, but I really need help!

run malware bytes and a decent antivirus, then clean up your registry after you go through your installed programs and get rid of any search bars that have been mistakenly downloaded.
