Howdy Toms!

Long time troller, first time poster. Here's my issue:

I have a user whose Outlook 2013 view settings keep changing on him when an email (internal or external) arrives into his inbox. The change doesn't always happen immediately -- sometimes he'll close Outlook and reopen it to find his view settings changed. He likes his inbox all collapsed sorted by From ascending. The change that happens is the view will be all expanded and under view settings -> Group by, the bottom drop down is changed to "As last viewed" instead of all collapsed.

Here's some pertinent info:

Software: Outlook 2013
Install: Office 365
OS: Windows 7 x32

Hardware info if you need it:

Dell Optiplex 790
3 GB RAM
Intel Core i3 @ 3.3 GHz
120 GB Intel SSD 530 series

Things I have already tried:

Manually changing view settings
Copying view settings to new view profile
Cleaning out view settings by running Outlook /cleanviews
Running Office 365 repair
Running Office 365 online repair
Installing/Reinstalling Office 365 (TWICE)

I'm officially out of ideas. How do I keep the view settings from changing when an email comes in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

One more important thing to note:

I was able to successfully recreate this issue on a virtual Win7 x64 PC on VMware. Looks like the issue is not local to the user's PC, profile, or copy of Outlook 2013. I'm wondering if this is a bug in Outlook 2013. Has anyone else noticed this issue in the Collapse All view settings?
