2) What size & weight consideration (if any) would you prefer

A 15.6 inch screen AND 1366 * 768 min





3) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?

a. Like: DELL HP SAMSUNG
b. Dislike: who have bad after sales service


4) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?

Basic computing with some hardcore gaming and playing HD Movie.I will try out for New games in next 3-4 years on this laptop.


5) What screen resolution(s) & type (glossy/matte) would you prefer?

around 1366 * 768 min


6) Anything else you would like to say? (eg: local purchase, ASS,matte/glossy finish)
Should be a good design
I want USB 3.0.

7) What OS do you prefer? Windows, Mac OS, Linux, etc.

prefer dos/ubuntu/linux. later I install windows 7.It is not necessery to have an OS.


8) How many hours of battery life do you need?

good battery back up

At your budget, the Core i5 machines are not good for gaming purposes, because they come with Intel Integrated Graphics which are very weak.

I suggest you to go for AMD APU-based laptops, which are more value for money and offer better gaming performance due to dedicated discrete Graphics cards.

Yes, there are some with GT720/HD8670 Graphics card which are not powerful cards for gaming. I think there's no harm going for AMD-based laptops if you're on a budget.
