HI Guys,

>Laptop spec:
CR400 - MSI - dedicated Nvidia graphic chip
4 GB ddr2 ram/ dual core
250gb hdd

>Problem:
system shutdown immediately or some time after multiple trial goes on for 3 to 4 sec and power cuts.

>These are solutions i tried:
- replace cmos battery
-alternative RAM use and keeping one ram at a time
- HDD replaced
- Heatsink check, replacing the thermal component.
- checking chipset if properly place.
- battery removed and power on
- disassemble the whole laptop and reassemble it again to check if the cables are broken.

Kindly help me to resolve the issue. the only thing which i cannot check was if the GPU is working or not.

Solution
The only way to check the GPU is to remove it and put back in a good motherboard. But your problem is that some component is defective and the laptop shuts down. What you could do, is disassemble the laptop and check with just the motherboard, the adapter and an external monitor, to see if it will boot. And, what I mean about component, is like a chip, a resistor, a capacitor.
