Hi guys, i'm using VGA HIS R9 280x (http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-772.shtml). which have 2 mini displayports, 1 hdmi port and 1 DVI.

can i use 3 monitors that have built-in speakers of course. to get different audio output for each specific monitor? (pug the monitor on 2 mini displayport and hdmi, not on DVI)

for example, i play youtube video on monitor A, i expect to get youtube audio from monitor A, mean while i skype with someone on monitor B and get the audio from monitor B.

can i also get it 5.1 surround for playing games?

sorry for my bad english. :(

note: i'm thinking to get this monitor http://www.asus.com/Monitors_Projectors/VX239H/

while hdmi and displayport can both carry audio (some manufacturers however done give their displayport audio capabilities) what you need besides that is drivers which can support what you want to do.

i suppose if you changed the individual properties for different programs to have a "default audio device" setting to be tied to a particular monitor that you could get it to play over just that monitor however it would do so even if you had it on another monitor. not exactly what you wanted.

as far as surround sound... i'm unaware of any drivers/software which can do what you want. perhaps if they ever implement sound into amd eyefinity what you want to do would be possible but i'm not aware of it being possible at the moment without...
not really. they are not meant to work that way.

if the monitor you want to use does NOT have an aux 3.5mm input or rca red+white input for sound....
i suppose with a whole load of different adapters and dac's you could hook up to a pc soundcard and reproduce the effect. i suppose its also capable to wire directly to the speakers and hooking them in this manner as well using a small amplifier

if the monitor does have an aux input of some sort which can be used alongside the video input....
then it should be relatively simple to hook it up to your soundcard to get 3.0 sound at least. i dont know of any monitors with this feature though off the top of my head.

its cheaper and easier to just buy a 5.1 sound system.

seems kind of silly why they wouldnt include audio as an option... but most people pushing multi-monitors have a good sound system already so perhaps that is why. in any case you could send amd support an email asking about getting support for multi-monitor sound.
