I have a 47inch LED LG tv and the only audio out port is the Digital optical, which is plugged up to a sound bar I have hooked up. I have a Bose Acustimass 3 Series Speaker system that I am looking to use as well for surround sound for my tv. If my digital otical port is already being used and there is no other Audio out ports to plug up the amp/or receiver, then how can I use the bose with the system? Your help will be much appreciated.

It makes no sense to cobble together the speakers you have just to get more speakers playing at the same time. You can split the optical output of the TV and connect one feed to the soundbar and the other to a digital to analog converter and then to an amplifier to feed the bose. Would cost you more than simply buying a home theater in a box which at least would work together properly and give you real surround sound.

The only way to get sound out of the tv is with a digital optical port, which i have already used it to play sound though my sound bar. So how would I connect the audio receiver to my tv to play the bose speakers?
