My laptop is a touch screen laptop, but for some reason I can't use the touch screen

I'm using a touch screen laptop, at first it was working normally but after a while, the touch screen isn't working...can someone help?

However, I’m glad to provide you with these steps which will help you to resolve issue with Windows Explorer.
Method 1:
Run the troubleshooter. Follow these steps:
a. Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.
b. Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
c. Click hardware and sound and run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.
d. Follow the On screen instructions.
Method 2:
Follow the mentioned steps to enable Touch tab if it is disabled:
a. Navigate to Start screen. In the Start screen, click on
b. Control Panel tile.
c. In control panel Window, Scroll down and tap on the “More Settings” option.
d. Old Control Panel window will open.
e. Next, go to Hardware and Sound and after that click on Pen and
f. Touch option. Pen and Touch window will open.
g. Now, in the Pen and Touch window, navigate to Touch tab option. Check whether Use your finger as an input device box is unchecked, if so uncheck it. Then press
h. Apply and then OK.
Method 3:
You may download and install the latest driver touch laptop driver from the link:
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/ProductSelector/Select?rquery=na
Install the drivers for the touch driver in Windows 7 compatibility mode and check if that helps.
a. After Downloading the touch drive from the computer manufacturer’s website.
b. Right-click on the driver and click on ‘properties’.
c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 7 operating system from the drop down.
d. Click on ‘Apply’ and click ‘OK’ and run the file to install it.
