I have an Asus Transformer TF101 and am fed up with Android's lack of multitasking and single app experience. Therefore I am looking at Windows 8.1
I would like a decent amount of real estate to display 2 applications at once, so would like a 1080 display.
I am not interesting in gaming so a Bay Trail processor would be the best option as it is cheap with a good battery life.
A 13" screen would be best, and I do not care that the bigger screen means that I miss out on Microsoft's Office offer as I have a desktop for actual work.
So, are there ANY products that fit that description? I cannot find a single one.

At the moment, the only Bay Trail device that I am aware of which has greater than 1366x768 / 1280x800 resolution is the recently announced (3 days ago) 8" Lenovo Think Tab 2. It has a resolution of 1920x1200.

Yay!!! The return of 1920x1200 resolution. However, it is still limited to only 2GB of RAM. Booooo!!!

Actually, I have come across an 11.6" convertible laptop / tablet using the Bay Trail Celeron N2910 CPU with a 1080p screen. However, it is only sold in the UK for £ 385.95. Their website does not mention anything about international sales, but interestingly enough they have a US site that is strictly for tech support.

Intel has clearly intended Bay Trail CPUs to be used in both tablets and low cost laptops so it might just be a matter of time before such devices are more widely available.

You can always call Medion in the UK and ask them if they accept international purchases. If you know of someone in the UK, then he/she can purchase it and then ship it to you.
