which processors can fit in my laptop ?

Hello, i have an eMachines E732ZG it has :
P6100 Pentium Duel core 2.00 GHZ
3gb Ram
ATI Radeon M5650 HD
320 HDD
the question here is can i upgrade my processor ? as you know p6100 isnt quit a processor for gaming and i need something more powerfull , if yes i can, then which are the available processors to replace it ??

Alot of processors are available for your unit. I would highly advise going with anything between an i3 and an i7 processor. This depends on how much power you want for the tasks you do. I hope this helps.

I don't have anything off hand, but your processor's socket type is socket G1 / rPGA988A. Any Intel mobile processors that have that socket type will work in your unit. I've got a buddy that does laptop processor swaps, so its definitely not a hard situation.

well... you could but for how much you would spend you'd be better off buying new.

You have a great point. Mobile CPU chips are insanely expensive unless you buy an older chip. For example, the Core i3 3320T is priced at $547! That's more than a six core desktop processor!
