Samsung 32" LCD Ghosty display

Hi All,

I have a Samsung 32" LCD series 550 which goes weird after 1 hour of usage. I am getting ghosty overlapping images and vertical lines. They disappear when I put it on rest for 4 to 5hrs and again shows up after an hour of usage.

The TV is currently out of warranty and the Samsung agent is advising me to change the display panel which would cost INR 12.5k.
Please advice if there is any alternate solution that I can follow.

For a 32" LCD TV you are probably better off replacing it rather than repairing it if it's out of warranty. With a new one you get a new warranty and cost of a new screen and cost to install it would be the same as, or very close to, a new TV. Or find a used working TV you can buy.

You can't do anything else on your own aside from trying to replace parts and see if it's not the screen. It may be the system board, but then you'll have to buy one, install it and see if that fixed things.
