So when i play a video on youtube on my pc, it automaticly chooses 144p and it's really anoying. In settings -> videoplayback (or whatever it is called in English) i have checked the Box that says: always choose the best possible quality for my internett conection and the size of my display i'm using. It still always choose 144p, and my internett isn't really that slow. If i choose 720p or 1080p it Works fine. I have a 24 inch display. I also tried to check the Box under that said: always play in HD in fullscreenmode (if avalible). Still nothing. Hoping you guys could help. Thanks in advance :)

I should also say that when i fist start the video it is in 720p for a few Seconds and then changes to 144p. Also when i change to lets say 720p you have to reload the video for the quality to update and even then it will often change to 144p even though it says hd on the settings mark and the 720p has a check mark at the side of it.

I'm not sure if anything here (http://lifehacker.com/366942/watch-youtube-high-quality-videos-by-default) will help but it may be worth a read. A Google search shows that a lot of people are having this problem. I hope someone will be able to help you.
