How to unlock packard bell touchpad

My original keyboard is broke so i have connected a portable keyboard. My touchpad wont work as i have pressed something on the keyboard but i dont know what? I dont have an "fn" key either and the keys f1-10 do not display any symbol pictures! Help!!

A plug-in keyboard does not support all the same features & functions as the built-in keyboard. You will have to get a new, built-in keyboard fitted if you want all the keys to work as before.

You can fix the touchpad problem by plugging in a USB mouse and using that instead.
