Whenever I turn it on, I don't hear any fans spinning, And the only thing that shows is a white screen. (Sometimes it turns off and on) I've left the laptop on for around 5 minutes, and the left side of the palmrest gets extremely hot (Probably due to the fan not spinning) Then, the laptop turns itself off because it overheated. I'm guessing it's the graphics chip. It seems the laptop cannot POST either. It may have died on me. I've connected it do an external monitor and everything, and it still won't work! Nothing at all shows on the monitor. I've tried both VGA and HDMI ports and nothing at all. The touchpad, the power button, the side LED and the F12 all light up. Has the motherboard failed? Is this fixable? Help would be much appreciated.

I recall one more thing
- if you have 2 RAM stick remove one and power on
- test the second one
- if the problem is still there -> again motherboard

Hmm.. Maybe. But that may not be correct as I cannot get any display by hooking it up to an external monitor. But if you are correct, I'm seriously gonna regret this as I just dished out $120 on a new board!
