I was ready to buy the samsung laptop

specs - http://www.flipkart.com/samsung-np550p5c-s04in-laptop-3rd-gen-ci5-6gb-1-tb-win8-2gb-graph/p/itmdeh2tvgytgrkj?pid=COMDEH2SDVGNWXEC&ref=018b53ac-b790-4c92-9398-d9b2a53304e6

but when i went to a local dealer with my father he said " samsung is quitting from laptops market and dont go with it " . Is it true ? Because this gave my father a negative impression of samsung laptops . But here in India , these laptops are the only ones which are giving a good gpu ( gt 650m ) . Other well know brands are giving mediocre gpus at same price which is not Value for money .

What is your opinion regarding samsung laptops and their future .

Yes, Samsung doesn't seem to concentrate on laptop division. Maybe, they're so busy with the smartphones.
I haven't seen Samsung laptops with Intel Haswell (4th gen) CPUs yet.

This one is also quite value for money:

I don't think it's true. There was news back in 2011 that if Samsung could not increase sales and at least top Sony in the laptop market, that they would cut back production. Their market penetration has increased, however, and their new platform for smartphones is even being backed by Intel. Samsung has decided to reduce sales in Israel, but I haven't heard about them reducing provision to India.

I don't know about the Market and all. I was just wondering that why they haven't released laptops with Intel 4th Generation CPUs. I guess, every company will concentrate on that business which brings them most profit. And, they're selling smartphones at a huge margin. Their flagship phones have worse build quality than other flagships. Just my opinion.
