Hello there

I got a Laptop from Clevo a P170EM IvyBridge Barebone

CPU = I7-3610QM 2.3 Ghz ivy bridge (3.3 Ghz Boost)
HD 750 GB Sata3 7200 RPM
SSD 250 GB Sata3
Ram 16 GB 1600 DDR3 HyperX
Grafik AMD Radeon HD7970M 2GB

and having this problem that my CPU is getting to hot. atleast its what i think.
with just running Google Crome and the spec from Speedfan 4.49 is

HD0 = 30C
HD1 = 46C
GPU = 0C
CPU 85-100C

and when running a game like World of Warcraft its

HD0 = 30C
HD1 = 50C
GPU = 100-105C
CPU = 100-110C

Solution

I've never had one, but aren't Clevo's quite user servicable? Perhaps it's just a matter of fan/ heatsink cleaning, or less likely, thermal compound on the cpu/gpu. Maybe someone else who's had one weigh in here?

IDK, but that seems too hot, I'm running an AW14 (yeah I know sigh) with an i7 4700 and a GTX765. My CPU rarely breaks 80 deg C, and my GPU say, 60 to 65 deg C. Thats under load of course, measured with coretemp anf GPU z.

Sweet, that looks much better, +1 on Chrisso's suggestion, it's a PITA but necessary.
