I tried to downgrade from win 8 to windows 7 on my new laptop using a bootable USB flash.

I initially accessed my BIOS "to change the boot directory from HDD to USB" by pressing F2

Now I am trying to access the BIOS in other to change the booting back to HDD but Its not happening.

I have tried F1,F2,F3,F4,F5,F6,F7,F8,F9,F10,F11,F11,INS,DEL & ESC but nothing is happening. I just receive the following message "Check Cable Connection! No Bootable device ----- Insert boot disk and press any key

The above message is shown when I try starting the pc without the USB in it.

NB: I havent installed the windows 7 yet in it because its HDD is a GPT type partition and hence I cant use it for installation.

PLS Help!

Hi I have got the same problem on my Toshiba Ultrabook Z930. I can help you get to the Challenge code that is how fare I have gotten my self.
Try to hold ESC while you are powering up as soon Password screen comes up hit CTRL, TAB, CTRL, ENTER.
And Challenge Code will come up . Hope you have better luck than me.
