To be honest, I dont know Ive not done laptop gaming before. So only lower settings but probably first person shooters, maybe call of duty or something similar.

NO. GT 635M will only provide you mid-range gaming you wont be able to play new games like COD GHOSTS etc.

I say don't go for this laptop there are lot of better options. Specs are not very good and GPU GT 635M is not meant for a decent level gaming. The GT Series of nVidia is not meant for gaming.

Don't waste your money on that laptop it is outdated now and I think will soon be DISCONTINUED.

Instead you can check this laptop from HP: http://www.harveynorman.com.au/hp-pavilion-g6-2205ax-laptop.html.

Specs are way better than Asus Vivobook. Hope this helps :)

Well, if there is a question of price point. Then you should go for Asus Vivobook that's a good one considering it's price range.

You can pretty much run almost every game even the new ones (if you upgrade your RAM) on Low to Medium settings on maximum resolution. For old games you can run them on Medium to High settings on maximum resolution. Also if you will do lot of gaming on your laptop consider buying a laptop cooling pad. Although, Asus is not an overheating machine but still as a precaution. Hope this helps

Thanks, How much would it cost to upgrade the RAM? Is it possible to upgrade it yourself or do you have to pay for it to be done. What is classed as an old game?
