Hey Tom's Hardware community!
I come to you with an age-old question-leaving a laptop plugged in constantly. I just got this computer for christmas: http/www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-V5-572G-6679-15-6-inch-Laptop/dp/B00DKFFFXO
While I am pretty sure this laptop has the protections put into place so that it does not constantly recharge when plugged in (thus killing the battery), I wanted to ask the expert community here just to be safe. As i am led to believe, newer laptops have said safeguards built in to prevent constant recharging.
Is this the case? Thanks!
