will my laptop support a 144hz monitor ?

this is my laptop https://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/S46CB/#specif..., im planning on either getting a 144hz monitor from asus or benq if my laptop can support it

it will, but will your graphics card push 144 fps in games? i don't think so

i approximately get 150-200 fps in counterstrike global offensive, would i be able to connect the monitor via vga for 144hz?

vga is not the best connection, it is always better to use HDMI or DVI

HDMI does not support the capability to produce 144hz. DVI is the optimal connection for 144hz monitors.
