i got a rotel RA-985BX from my uncle my dad was messing with it for a party and when i got it back the thing wont let me select a source my dad said nothing weird happened at the party what could it be.

i have little experience with amp hardware so keep that in mind

there are Pre-out / Main-In jacks on the back. There should be metal jumper between them. If they are missing, use RCA patch cords. Pre-out left to Main in left, same for the right channel!

i replaced them with rca cables no change
