There is nowhere on the SR7007 that you can connect the Bose EQ and get it to work without the addition of an outboard power amp that would drive the Bose. As to getting both to work at the same time I suspect that you have one of them connected to the wrong speaker terminals on the receiver. Not hard to do. Check to make sure that they are both connected to the A front speaker terminals. Make sure to go to the speaker set up menu and set front to large and all others to none if you only have 2 speakers to connect.
I wonder if I could ask for a bit of an explanation. The Marantz SR7007, http

/worldwide.bose.com/productsupport/assets/pdf/guides/speakers/901_series6/en/st_list_en_901.pdf, wouldn't the Bose Equalizer work on the 901s assuming I connect them to the Front A speakers posts? Or are these INs and OUTs different from the pre-home theater preamp and power amp connections I remember from the '80s? Thanks.
