Actually i'm not as geeky as most of the guys here are. So I seek your help, maybe some suggestions on a new laptop. here are my constraints;
- Price: $1000-1050
-Backlit keypad
-An optical drive (maybe)
-discrete graphics (1 or 2Gb)
-A fabulous battery life (anything more than 50Whr)
-All these except the pretty standard set of features that are available
I'm a college student ( elec. and cimmunications) and will most likely code on my rig apart from using Photoshop elements.
Anticipating your quick replies.
