Asus X401A CPU upgrade

I recently got an Asus X401A laptop with a Celeron B830 1.8 GHZ processor as a hand-me-down. I know that the CPU is not soldered in but I cant seem to find any options for a replacement. Thinking about just selling this thing but if I can find a CPU to replace it with I will consider keeping it. The b830 & HD2000 graphics are slow and I cant even play any games on the lowest settings. Any help?

It can be bumped up a fair bit in terms of speed if willing to put money into it problem is your not going to game on a laptop the intergrated graphics suck on intel even the new 4000 isnt gaming material

rPGA988B This socket only no other processors will fit careful these models have diffrent socket types make sure the seller has said it is this socket

i3-2350M
i3-2370M
i5-2410M
i5-2450M

either way any of these would be a leg up from celeron

mx4 paste would be a good replacement paste for when installing new cpu
make sure the cpu is clean use
isopropyl alcohol
cotton swabs and coffee filters or anti static cloth to clean the chips and heatsink clean out fan too.

you may also want to invest on new ram at this point as well

max supported this will jump it up or hell you could sell it if you can find a i3 or i5 cheap enough

Thanks for the reply. I found this thread which doesn't give me any hope of installing a new CPU. People have gotten CPUs to work but there seems to be a timer that only lets it work for 30 mins and then it shuts down. Do you know what that might be and is there a possible way to get past that?
