Hey guys, as this headset is fairly low priced, I was wondering whether I would see a huge difference in sound quality by purchasing an asus xonar. I couldn't give two shits about music quality, just if I can hear footsteps and sounds that I wouldnt hear as easy or at all with onboard sound. I am using an asrock z77 extreme4 If that helps. I will pretty much be strictly using a headset/headphones.
