I can't type anything and locked out of acer laptop

My keyboard was working fine until I got on my laptop today and couldn't type.Im locked out so I can't do anything.I have tried a few things but none have worked.Please Help!

If the external keyboard works then its a Hardware Problem, If the ex/keyboard dont work then its Software.

same happened to me cause my baby i think pressed the right shift key for a long so the keyboard locked it.. a clock like ivon appeared on the right side of my task bar.. just click it and a setting will appear, just uncheck the first box for keyboard shortcut i think and the box that says turn on keyboard something when right shift is pressed for 8 seconds.. then click apply.. problem solved.
