Anyone have any suggestions for a laptop under $1000?
Will be using it mostly for everyday stuff, watching lots of movies/videos. But also do some occasional gaming - mostly sims, civilization type games.
Would prefer a 14-inch (or smaller) with something like an i5, discrete graphics, good sound quality and weight less than 5 lbs. Is it even possible to get all this within my price range?
Used to have a Lenovo Ideapad Y470 and loved it, although thought it was a tad heavy. And I would have replaced it with their newest Y series except they are even heavier.
Was considering the Lenovo Yoga 13 but the intel graphics card really turns me off. Also, not sure about the sound quality since it's pretty small.
Came across the Acer Aspire V7-482PG. It's only slightly lighter than the Y470 but everything else seems to fit most if not all on my checklist. Anyone have any experience with it?
Or other suggestions for a better/comparable machine? Thanks in advance for the help!
