Hi everyone,

My HDD drive for my laptop Acer Aspire V3-571G just die. And I haven't made any back up. No important data on that anyway, and I'm also about to upgrade to a new SSHD.

Now the problem is, when I get the new HDD and install windows, I need to get all the drivers for the components I went on acer website and they had everything listed. When I bought the laptop 6 months ago, it was installed with win8 and I was furious. In a mad attempt to install win7 I think I erased everything including back up and factory settings on the hdd. Then I noticed the laptop runs slower than it should with the listed hardware. Supposed to run Crysis 3 on high...

Is there a special way to set up the Acer laptop? Just installing all the listed driver should work, no? Or does Acer offers some recovery disk?

Thanks!

Been there, what i always do its download the Wireless adapter driver and save it in a USB. Install it from usb in the laptop, connect to internet from laptop and install all the drivers. I have not been able to figure a way out of your problem with laptops based on Windows 8 but most drives work correctly with older windows.
