Thanks for reply.
If you think this spec is ok. I'm looking about £800 $1300 maybe a bit more if needed.
Just looked at Toshiba Satellite S70-A-11H
Spec Intel Duel Core i5-4200m 2.5 Ghz/3.1 with turbo 8GB 1TB Hard Drive
Graphics GeForce 740m 2GB dedicated
Screen 17.3" 1600 x 900
For £749 about $1,220
Worth going for ??

That one is not worth it. From what I can tell, it has only 1600 x 900 resolution. And it has an i5 CPU and 740m video card.

Try this one, which is 1920 x 1080 resolution, has an i7 CPU, and a 750m video card and similar price:

Don't pay attention to the bad review. I've purchased Acer laptops before. They are fine.

For photo editing one of your primary concerns is going to be screen quality (along with pairing your hardware to meet your software requirements). I don't have a good suggestion in that price range off-hand, but when you find laptops you like I would highly recommend checking them against this website, as they dedicate an entire section of each review to screen quality taking into account for contrast, sRGB color space, and Adobe RGB etc:

Dude, this one is cheaper and it has a 760m video card. TigerDirect ships outside the U.S.
They also have it on Ebay. This sale won't last forever.
