I have confirmed it's not the headphones by trying them in two other devices, worked flawlessly. I'm 100% sure it's something with my computer, I've tried 3 different sets of headphones including these ones on my computer, no luck. I made sure audio drivers were updated and I made sure it was the default device. The Realtek control panel doesn't even recognize any of the headphones in front panel or motherboard I/O. I have RMA'd my motherboard for another issue, so I'm pretty sure it's not hardware level, but I will troubleshoot in hardware more if you believe I should.

Solution
Oh. Right :p
I don't suppose you have a USB audio device or HDMI device you could try with? It might narrow down the possibilities.

And you've no doubt gone through the basic troubleshooting methods:
Check the playback device settings: Volume, mute, etc.
Restart the computer.
