So, just today my keybord has been really.. funny resently. its being weird and not letting me type keys that i really need just to type. and with that it also affects my space bare. My B, Enter key, and a few other letters. I have restarted and shit down my laptop but still no use. it started this when i was playing on a game(Minecraft, please note i am only 15) and it started acting like this. and these keys are needed for other things. im trapped useing my touch screen but i need my laptops keys.. whats wrong with it?

Solution
It sounds like either a faulty key matrix or an issue with the motherboard. Usually this is the result of one of three things:

1. Faulty keyboard or keyboard cable
2. Spill/liquid damage
3. Faulty keyboard controller chip

If it's number 1, you can get away with replacing the keyboard and it should work. If it's 2, a keyboard replacement MIGHT work, but it's not certain; should the liquid have reached the system board, then chances are the whole system board will need replaced.

If it's number 3, then a replacement keyboard will not be a fix here and you will certainly need a new system board.

if i repeatedly press the keys they start working for a moment. im not sure thats a problem since i dont have any drinks or liquid around it at all when it started.

Very likely it's just a faulty keyboard then. That's easier to fix, although if you're not exactly technically inclined, then you may need to take it to a local computer repair shop. Big box retailers with a tech team may not offer that kind of service (depends on where you go), but any decent repair shop can replace a keyboard.

Try to find one that offers free diagnostics though. Otherwise you could end up with the same problem $50 - $100 later just for them trying.
