The other day i put my laptop to sleep as i was about to go to bed but it was taking awhile and the fan was still running loud so i stupidky decide to unplug it. Now when i try to turn it on, the fans run and the leds are on but the screen is black. Ive tried unpkugging everything and holding the power button for 30 seconds several times to no avail

Not even a BIOS screen or manufacturer's splash screen when you turn it on? Then it's not a Windows issue, more likely hardware problem.
Try an external monitor to see if you get any visual feedback from that (not suggesting that as a fix, just as a test to help with diagnosis).
