Problem after using HDMI cord.

Ok, so i just bought an hdmi cord and hooked it up to the tv, everything works fine but after im done using it, the laptop got got slower. My games would always run smoothly like league of legends. FPS was at 65 and now it dropped to 19-25. I don't know how to get my laptop running back to normal. Please HELP!

Maybe your laptop is still trying to output a display to HDMI?

Press "Windows Key + P" to access the External Monitor settings, and make sure your set to Computer Only. Setting to computer only should solve the problem... If not, try rebooting after making the change.

Does your laptop have a discrete gpu? If so it is possible it was switched off and you are now running on the integrated gpu. Go to your power options and make sure you are set to high performance. Reply back if this is not the case and/or that does not work.
