connect HDTV, cable box, blu-ray player to old av receiver with no HDMI

I have a new HDTV and new blu-ray dvd player and a cable box. I want to connect all to a Harmon Kardon AVR 75 receiver that does not have an HDMI input

Connect the Bluray and cable box to the TV with HDMI. Connect the cable box and bluray to the receiver with digital audio cables (either optical or coaxial as needed). Make sure that they are set to output correctly to the receiver in the menu of each source. Also you will need to assign the digital connections to the input selector on the HK receiver in the input set up menu. You may also need to connect the video out of the receiver to the TV to get the set up menus visible. Use whatever type video out that will work.
