Hey guys, I posted this on the Escapist already, but I realized that this might be a better way to get info. I'm currently looking to get a new gaming PC. My old Asus one has been dying out on me for some time. This one! ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220764 )

The thing is, I only have a budget of a one a little over $800 and it really cant be too heavy since I have have to carry the thing around a big campus. But I am looking for a step up on my old machine's specs.

Does anyone have any good recommendations that's compromises between Weight (5 - 7ish lbs), Price $800-ish), and Power (better then the thing in that link :p )? Bonus points if its Asus! ;)

Nice! Thanks for the super quick reply. I have no idea how graphics and laptop model numbers work. Its all crazy voodoo to me... So I am assuming that the Y580 is better?

Anywhoo, do you think that the Y510p would last me 4 years or so based on its techspecs in the graphics department in this new gaming generation?
