I am confused between Lenovo Thinkpad Edge E431 and T431
Both with 4GB RAM (BASE)
INTEL HD 4000 Graphics
500GB @ 7200RPM
14inch HD+ with touch for E431
14inch HD+ for T431
Processor: Intel Core i5-3230M Processor (3MB Cache, up to 3.20GHz)
720p web cam
Price after taxes:
E431- 800$
T431- 1000$
And in E431 i have the 6cell lion 62WH 75+ battery

Which one performs better ? And which one looks better

I have a similar decision to make. I have to choose between:

1. Dell Inspiron 15 3537 Laptop 4th Gen Ci3/ 4GB/ 500GB/

2. Lenovo ThinkPad E431 (62771F0) Laptop (3rd Gen Ci3/ 2GB/ 500GB/ DOS)

The purpose I need a latop for is simple and as under.

I need a long lasting machine that I can upgrade with time, or at least get spare parts for. I don't like changing laptops, and I am using a Dell Inspiron 1525 for 5 years (RAM and HDD replaced since, but keyboard keys worn out ,and shuts down by itself quite often now). I am a content writer and use it for writing content on MS Word or LibreWriter, surf the internet. No games, no other use... But I do keep it on for a long time in the day...

I would really really appreciate good advice here from knowledgeable guys. I have never taken a degree in IT and am not really technosavvy, just know MS office and use computers for my work like most people do, nowadays.
