Hi, I'm quite the novice with computers and especially hardware. I'm debating between purchasing a new laptop this black friday or building one myself. I've never built one myself so I'm kinda iffy about working my way through the whole process without knowing anybody experienced to help. I'm looking for a laptop for schoolwork and some gaming (Dota 2 and Guild Wars 2).
My question is which of these setups is better in terms of performance and value? Secondly, how good of a system is really feasible to build on a budget of ~$600. Thanks to everybody's help in advance.
