1. My budget is around $700 but it's a give or take, either cheaper or more expensive. I'm looking for something cost efficient that will suffice for me.

2. I prefer a larger laptop.

3. 1920x1080 is my screen resolution of choice

4. I need this laptop to be a desktop replacement for an extended period of time.

5. I prefer my battery to last a big longer.

6. I want to play games on my laptop. A few games that I want to play are League of Legends at max settings, Saints Row III at high or medium, Starcraft II at high, and maybe some newer games that are going to be released later.

7. I do basic networking, but nothing that requires good hardware. I just need something that will handle Microsoft Office, multitasking, and video games.

8. I don't need a terribly large amount of hard drive space, so 500GB+

9. I have no preference in which website to purchase this laptop from.

10. I want to keep my laptop for several years.

11. DVD Rom/Writer, and perhaps blu-ray reader/writer but it isn't something I'm exactly looking for.

12. I have no preference in brands, but I prefer something with good customer service, but once again, not necessary.

13. I live in the United States.

14. If possible, I want a laptop with a more pronounced 'click' to the keys. I am also probably primarily going to be on WLAN, so a laptop with good connectivity would be nice.

well... looking at toshiba... heres 2 I found...
More processing power, but a 15.6" 1366x768 screen:

a little less processing power, but with a 1080p screen:

just configure either with the 740M graphics option. and I'd configure the first one with an i5 upgrade. Personally, I'm toward the end of college and I'd say that the 15.6 inch screen is a nice size. I sometimes talk to people and they'll complain that their laptop is huge or heavy. it's up to you if you want something big or easier to move.
also, the 740M will probably last forever performance wise on a 1366x768 screen.

I'm not sure if the 740M is a good enough graphics card after looking at its benchmark. The laptops otherwise look really good.

I have a 330m and it performs just fine. Dont sink a ton of money into a college laptop and have it be obsolete in 2 years. Also, once you get into your sophomore / junior years you want have time to game / will probably want to do other things.
