Okay so I am trying to connect my computer to my older projection tv. The tv has S-Video, Composite and Component ports. The computer only has VGA and DVI. I would prefer it if I didn't have to use any adapters or converters.

The computer needs a new graphics card anyways since I cannot find the correct drivers for it.

I just want to know if i should get a new graphics card with S-Video, Composite, or the harder to find Component outputs.

Thank you for taking the time to read. =)

have you looked on the manufacturers website for drivers? they should be listed.

if you want a new card... i would just get one with hdmi or dvi and use an adapter. when your tv finally dies (its projection so its likely older) you can upgrade to something else without hassle.

if you dont care and still want to pick one of the three... component is going to offer the best quality. s-video is better than composite and component is better than s-video.
