So my friend gave me their laptop to look at, because it just shuts off randomly. I plugged it on the charger but it doesn't seem to recognize that its plugged in. Most of the time only sometimes i can get the light to come on and get the computer to start up,but then if i move it just slightly it will just shut off again. I'm thinking that something is wrong with the DC Jack, because Ive tried a different charger, tried taking the battery out and just running it off the charger and still doesn't turn on. So now i am stuck i don't know what to do. Can you buy a new dc jack for this laptop? Even if i did i don't really know how to solder. So is there anything i can do about this.
