would this set up be good for World of Warcraft?

NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics
Feature 2GB dedicated GDDR3 video memory for lush images with intricate detail. HDMI output enables connection to an HDTV or other high-definition display

4th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-4200M processor
Features a 3MB cache and 3.0GHz processor speed with Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz

would 12 GB of RAM make a difference in game play? vs 8GB RAm?

Would i7 processor make a big difference in game play? vs i5?

The ram would make no difference, the processor would make a decent difference an I5 is a dual core I7s are quad cores. So if you really want as much speed as possible then get an I7, Don't worry so much on memory, 8gb will be plenty.

The laptop you're thinking of has the same specs as mine, with 8gb of RAM. It runs games really well (at low-medium settings) and gets a NovaBench score of about 700-800 off by memory (I may be wrong), if that means anything to you. 12GB of RAM would not benefit you much, but as i7s are quad core it would boost performance significantly. It would be great for WoW.
