would this set up be good for World of Warcraft?

NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics
Feature 2GB dedicated GDDR3 video memory for lush images with intricate detail. HDMI output enables connection to an HDTV or other high-definition display

4th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-4200M processor
Features a 3MB cache and 3.0GHz processor speed with Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz

would 12 GB of RAM make a difference in game play? vs 8GB RAm?

Would i7 processor make a big difference in game play? vs i5?

Solution
The 740M can play WoW without issues, not in ultra, but not low either.

As for the processor, for this game the i7 vs i5 shouldn't make a difference at all as WoW is not a multithreaded game (well, it is, but it doesn't use more than two cores).

8GB of RAM is plenty.

That should be plenty of power for an old game like WoW. I don't think the 12GB is that important over 8GB. I would spring for the i7 as the longevity of the laptop will be better with a more modern processor. That video card is kind of on the weak side (once again fine for WoW), so in a few years you will most likely be on low settings for new games.
