Is it possible to upgrade my Dell 15R laptop's nVidia GT525m to something newer? Like a GT620 or higher. I can't play the latest games with these.
intel i7 2nd gen 2.0 GHz
8GB RAM
nVidia GT525m 1gb +intel HD 3000 graphics shared.

Solution
No, you cannot. The GT 525m is soldered into the motherboard.

If you want better graphics performance, then you need to buy a laptop with a better graphics chip. The number of laptops that allow to upgrade the GPU is very low and limited to gaming laptops starting at $1,400. Not all of them will allow up to upgrade. You need to do research because even a $2,200 gaming laptop can still have a graphics chip soldered into the motherboard.
