Sony Vegas pro issue

So I recorded a video that is about 13 minutes long. But when I put the recording into Sony Vegas pro, it shows it as 33 seconds.. I really need to know what's wrong cause I need to make YouTube content. I have watched my recording back and there is no lag in the recording at all or frames drops. So someone please help me?

What format is the recorded video in? What did you use to record the video? Have you tried importing it with a different setting?

/handbrake.fr/). It appears as though Vegas, or at least some versions, have trouble working with .m2ts files.
