I have an Acer laptop. Recently, my VGA port output into a digital projector has started flickering and/or showing no connection. I've tried multiple VGA cables. I've set the output resolution to the lowest possible level. No fix.
I also have a DVI port on the laptop. I bought a DVI/VGA converter - but that has resulted in no projector display at all. Do I need to change any settings to make the DVI convertor work? Any other suggestions? I can try USB conversion, but need to display PowerPoint slides, video, and an interactive hardware/software program. Most of the specs I've check state the USB to VGA conversion is not recommended for videos.
