Hey guys , I keep having this problem with my new laptop ( Asus vivobook s551) when i try to game on it , the games keep stuttering ..that is until the batterys charge is higher than 90% . to be clear , all drivers are updated , nothing is running in the background except for the game I'm playing and I only game when plugged in . I thought it was a throttling issue at first and i made a thread about it before , a user suggested i switch the power plans to high performance and i did . had no effect at all , games still stutter until the battery is charged . Please help , this issue is really annoying , i have to wait until the batter charges every time i want to game . also the battery is non removable .

Solution
It sounds like a GLITCH to me. Contact Asus.

It sounds like throttling. I don't remember seeing any settings that would throttle the CPU or GPU at a specific battery level though.

Are there some 3rd-party power management softwares running? Better uninstall them and just use system default (high performance profile)

Or you can update your BIOS. A new version may help.

I had Asus' battery manager installed but i still have the same issue even after uninstalling . also , i just updated my bios recently . i seriously can't think of a reason why this is happening . When battery is about 90% , games run really smooth , any lower (even when plugged in) games will stutter .
