Hello everyone. I'm looking to get a new laptop and, as a student, I need to get it rather cheap (around $500). I've done a bit of research and I 'think' I've narrowed it down to these two:

Lenovo G580 15.6-Inch Laptop
Screen Size 15.6 inches
Max Screen Resolution 1366 x 768 pixels
Processor 2.6 GHz Core i5 3230M
RAM 4 GB DDR3
Hard Drive 500 GB SATA
Graphics Coprocessor Integrated Intel HD Graphics
Wireless Type 802.11bgn
Number of USB 2.0 Ports 1
Number of USB 3.0 Ports 2
Average Battery Life 5 hours

------------------------------------------------------------AND----------------------------------------------------------

ASUS X75A-DB32
Screen Size 17.3 inches
Screen Resolution 1600 x 900
Max Screen Resolution 1600*900 pixels
Processor 2.2 GHz Core i3-2328M
RAM 6 GB SO-DIMM
Hard Drive 500 GB
Wireless Type 802.11bgn
Number of USB 2.0 Ports 2
Number of USB 3.0 Ports 1

I primarily use my laptop for homework, messing around on the internet. I also use it for low-end gaming (minecraft and League of Legends). My computer probably runs about 12-18 hours a day (don't judge me). One fear that has come up on the ASUS is that I've only found 1 review for it so I'm nervous about committing, and was helping this community could either help push me in the right direction on one system or the other (or a recommended product in my price range). Now I'm not a super tech-savvy person so I don't get in-depth tech talk. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Solution
I would go with the Lenovo Laptop

Reasons
- better CPU
- would have better Graphics in games since there is a lower resolution

4 GB of RAM is good enough for the games you mentioned.
