Looking for a HDTV for bedroom, can't decide between 32 and 37 inch as well as 720 and 1080p

This is just a spare tv for the bedroom where I'd be watching some sports if I don't feel like getting out of bed as well as doing some light gaming/movie watching. My main setup is in the living room, so I don't need to be on the cutting edge, and I'd like to keep the price down if possible.

Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions?

Myself, for a bedroom tv that is either A, only going to be playing a 720p cable stream, maybe a 360 which really only does 720p anyways, or an older pc for streaming, light gaming, that 720p won't tax it as much, makes sense to me to get a cheap one. I'm in Canada and they're only like $180-$200 right now for one. I'm waiting for black Friday and bet I can snag one for $140 or so. No way I can do a 1080p screen at that price that nothing I plan to hook up to it will do true 1080p anyways.
32" 720p's are cheap, and with 720p probably being phased out, I expect them to be dirt cheap this black friday. I'm probably grabbing the same for my bedroom. My cable company only puts out "HD" at 720p or 1080i anyways, so it's not like I need 1080p 3D/240hz/IPS/super screen for watching Big Bang theory in bed or something. lol.
